Compendium of Curiosities 3 Challenge 29!

29.Header

Happy weekend, you guys, and a lovely Memorial Day weekend to our friends here in the States! Believe it or not, we’re up to installment #29 of the Compendium of Curiosities 3 Challenge. We’ve been working our way though all the techniques in the latest book by  Tim Holtz for over a year now! We’ve still got a few challenges to go, and whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or are joining in for the first time, welcome!

This is a technique-based challenge, and it’s a good one: Eroded Metallic. You’ll love this look. It works with everything from steampunk to shabby-chic to romantic floral themes, and it’s easy and lots of fun. Check out Tim’s tutorial on page 44 of  A Compendium of Curiosities, Vol.3 for the lowdown.

Our Very Simple Rules
Everyone is welcome to participate in the CC3C, but you must work from your personal copy of the CC3. If you don’t have the book, you can order one directly from Tim, who will be glad to autograph it for you. While we don’t have a lot of rules, one we take very seriously is our requirement to not share the challenge technique on your blog. We want our participants to support Tim by purchasing his book!

If you have any questions about the challenge requirements, please check out the CC3C F.A.Q. here.

Win a Lovely Prize from Tim and Mario!
As always, we’ll select a “Curiosity Crew’s Choice” winner who will receive an awesome assortment Tim’s products, courtesy of Tim himself and Mario Rossi, his Logistic Director and everyone’s favorite “Behind the Scenes” social media rockstar (be sure to follow Mario on Instagram for tons of insider info!).

To be eligible to win this special prize, you must visit each of our team members’ blogs and leave a comment there. You can easily access their blogs by clicking on their project photos (your comment on this post counts as your comment on my blog).
