Compendium of Curiosities 3: Challenge 19

19.Header

Happy New Year you guys, and welcome to the 19th– yes, 19th!!!- installment of the Compendium of Curiosities 3 Challenge, based on the latest book by the one and only Tim Holtz!

Speaking of Mr. Holtz, did you know that his birthday is January 7th? Please join the Curiosity Crew and me in wishing him a fantastically wonderful birthday! In fact, if you’re so inclined, you’re more than welcome to use this challenge to make a birthday card for him. (You’ll see that a few of us did that ourselves, and we’ll be delivering them to him at the Craft and Hobby Association Conference next week.) Whether you take your project in that direction or not, though, you’re going to have a blast with this project. Hey, it prompted me to learn how to thread the sewing machine I bought a year or so ago…  Check out page 66 in your copy of  A Compendium of Curiosities, Vol.3, for the lowdown, and get your craft on!

Our Simple Rules
Everyone is welcome to participate in the CC3C, but you must work from your personal copy of the CC3. If you don’t have the book, you can order one directly from Tim, who will be glad to autograph it for you. While we don’t have a lot of rules, one we take very seriously is our requirement to not share the challenge technique on your blog. We want our participants to support Tim by purchasing his book!

If you have any questions about the challenge requirements, please check out the CC3C F.A.Q. here.

Ka-CHING!
As always, we’ll select a “Curiosity Crew’s Choice” winner who will receive an awesome assortment Tim’s products, courtesy of Tim himself and Mario Rossi, his Logistic Director and everyone’s favorite “Behind the Scenes” social media rockstar (be sure to follow Mario on Instagram for tons of insider info!).

19.Prize

To be eligible to win this special prize, you must visit each of our team members’ blogs and leave a comment there. You can easily access their blogs by clicking on their project photos (your comment on this post counts as your comment on my blog).
