Hey guys! Happy Saturday, and welcome to installment #9 of the CC3 Challenge. We’re working our way through the most recent book by Tim Holtz, and whether you’ve been with us all along or this is your first challenge, the Curiosity Crew and I are so glad you’re here!
This week, we’re playing with those cool Sizzix Alterations Framelits! Tim has several designs to choose from, and they’re such a cool way to get some serious dimension in your papercrafting projects. Check out page 63 in your copy of A Compendium of Curiosities, Vol.3, for the details, then join in!
Just a Few Simple Rules:
Everyone is welcome to participate in the CC3C, but you must work from your personal copy of the CC3. The Crew will not be posting technique instructions on our blogs, and participants must not, either. We require this out of respect and appreciation for all the work Tim invested in writing the book. If you don’t have a copy, you can order one directly from Tim, who will be glad to autograph it for you! If you have any questions about the challenge in general, check out the CC3C F.A.Q. here.
Prizes? We’ve Got ‘Em!
As always, we’ll select a “Curiosity Crew’s Choice” winner who will receive an awesome assortment Tim’s products, courtesy of Tim himself and Mario Rossi, his business manager and everyone’s favorite “Behind the Scenes” social media rockstar (if you don’t already, be sure to follow Mario on Instagram)! To be eligible to win, you must visit each of our team members’ blogs and leave a comment there. You can easily access their blogs by clicking on their project photos (your comment on this post counts as your comment on my blog).
Inspiration Emporium ROCKS!
The lovely and generous Joy and her family at Inspiration Emporium sponsor all our odd-numbered challenges, and they’re back with another wonderfully generous FIFTY DOLLAR SHOPPING SPREE for one lucky CC3C entrant. To be eligible to win, simply link your project here and include a link to INSPIRATION EMPORIUM in your blog post. And, if you’re ready to shop right now, you’re welcome to use the coupon code STUDIOL3 for a 10% discount on your order.
The Curiosity Crew’s Projects:
Here’s how we used the Stamps and Framelits technique in our samples:
I’m always so inspired by the gorgeous work the Crew creates for these challenges, and delighted to see so much variety in styles. We can’t wait to see what YOU create with the Stamps and Framelits technique!
Have a fabulous, art-tastic couple of weeks, and if you entered Challenge 8, don’t forget to check back here next Saturday to see if you’re a winner!
