Hello, curious friends, and welcome to Challenge #10 in our journey through the latest book by the brilliant Tim Holtz! As summer winds down, a lot of us seem to notice our creativity revving up; have you noticed that same tendency yourself? Either way, we hope this challenge will inspire you to really think outside the box and feed that artistic urge!
For this challenge, the Curiosity Crew and I got multi-dimensional with Tim’s incredibly cool Assemblage Clock! Now, you might be thinking, “Oh, my gosh, that’s a HUGE commitment, and I just don’t have time!” Trust us, you do! You can approach this challenge in so many ways, and keeping it simple is one of them. We all felt a little intimidated, too, but ended up having a great time altering our clocks. Bet you will, too! Go grab your copy of the A Compendium of Curiosities, Vol.3, turn to page 33, and have the… (wait for it…) time of your life!
Just a Reminder:
Everyone is welcome to participate in the CC3C, but you must work from your personal copy of the CC3. The Crew will not be posting technique instructions on our blogs, and participants must not, either. We require this out of respect and appreciation for all the work Tim invested in writing the book. If you don’t have a copy, you can order one directly from Tim, who will be glad to autograph it for you! If you have any questions about the challenge in general, check out the CC3C F.A.Q. here.
Win! Win! Win!
As always, we’ll select a “Curiosity Crew’s Choice” winner who will receive a fabulous assortment Tim’s products, courtesy of Tim himself and Mario Rossi, his business manager and everyone’s favorite “Behind the Scenes” social media rockstar (follow Mario on Instagram to see what our favorite crafty creative genius is up to)! To be eligible to win, you must visit each of our team members’ blogs and leave a comment there. You can easily access their blogs by clicking on their project photos (your comment on this post counts as your comment on my blog).
The Funkie Junkie Boutique is back to sponsor Challenge 10, and lovely owner Linda Coughlin has a fabulous $25 shopping spree to one very lucky CC3Cer! For a chance to win, link your project here and link to The Funkie Junkie Boutique in your blog post!
