Custom-Etched Glass Tutorial!

Happy Friday, and happy Halloween season, Blog Friends!

I’ve always loved etched glass. It’s elegant, it’s organic, and it adds such a festive touch to your decor. On the down side, though, it can get pretty expensive. Sure, you could go out and buy fancy etched glass decorations, but really, why do that when it’s so much fun to make your own?! All you need are your favorite dies (in my case, Tim Holtz’s Sizzix Alterations), a few inexpensive supplies, and about ten minutes of crafty time. Really!

I’m honored to have my Custom-Etched Glass tutorial featured at the Simon Says Stamp blog today, and I’d be delighted if you’d check it out! Etching glass is my latest creative obsession, and I hope to get you hooked, too. Simon Says Stamp has everything you need to get started.

With Halloween creeping up on us, you could create a few Scaredy Cat Votive Holders for your Trick or Treat party…

While you’re at it, how ’bout an etched champagne flute for your favorite hard cider?

Or, a little etched pumpkin jar for your candy corn?

Trust me, this process is super easy! Please head over to the Simon Says Stamp blog for the instructions, and you’ll be an etching rockstar in no time!

Big hugs,
