No, not “The Fuzz,” like in 1970s TV drama police vernacular (“Hey, Huggybear, better lie low– The Fuzz is coming!”). Over at the Drunken Stampers lounge, we’re getting fuzzy with our art this week, which could involve anything from felt to Fun Flock to dryer lint (if you’re so inclined). While I seem to have an abundance of dryer lint, and there is almost always at least one fuzzy thing hanging out at the back of my refrigerator, I ultimately decided to go with the Fun Flock (in Caramel Latte Tan, which makes me thirsty just typing it).
I bet you recognize the little deer, as it was cut using Tim Holtz’s Reindeer Flight Alterations die (it’s not just for Christmas anymore…). I Fun Flocked it into baby fawn-iness, and glued our little friend to a spring-like background, in hopes of invoking a little warmth in the cold bleakness of this January. The heart is grungeboard dabbed with gold Adirondack paint, and the Word Stick is Idea-ology, also by Tim Holtz.
It’s been a truly awful week at my job, and I can’t begin to tell you all how much it means to know that there’s such a vibrant, supportive, inspiring community of papercrafters and blog friends out there. I’ve said more than once that this is the kindest community on Earth, and I truly believe that’s true. Thanks to you all for, you know, being YOU!
And, please join our Fuzzy little challenge over at Drunken Stampers!
